Built around its owners
57ft Thames Launch Style Narrowboat – Currently For Sale
Currently in build at Bluewater Boats is this stunning 57ft Thames Launch style narrowboat, being built as one of our own stock boats and currently available for sale.
The standout feature of this boat has to be her beautiful Thames Launch style stern. Completely different from the appearance of a conventional narrowboat, the sweeping stern creates an elegant profile which, when the boat is on the water, gives the impression that the stern is almost floating on the surface. We have built several boats in this style over the years and they have always proved extremely popular.
Layout – Bow to Stern
The interior has been designed to provide comfortable, spacious accommodation:
Bedroom → Walk-through Bathroom → Saloon → Galley with Breakfast Bar
At the bow is a king-size bedroom with wardrobe storage and useful drawers beneath the bed. This leads through to the walk-through bathroom, which features a thermostatic dual head shower, vanity unit with Staron solid-surface worktop and a pump-out toilet.
The saloon provides a generous living space, leading through to the galley at the stern. The galley incorporates a breakfast bar together with Staron solid-surface worktops, a 240V fridge, gas oven, gas hob and recycling bins.
Internally, the boat has a fresh, contemporary finish with an off-white painted ceiling and cabin sides, complemented by light sage green tongue-and-groove-effect panelling beneath the gunnels.
Distinctive Exterior & Stern Seating
The bow deck incorporates an opening hatch providing valuable additional storage.
At the stern, port and starboard seat lockers provide both seating and storage, while the beautifully curved seating across the rear follows the distinctive shape of the Thames Launch stern and creates a fantastic space to sit and enjoy cruising.
The specification also includes Victron electrical equipment, AGM batteries, a Vetus bow thruster and solar panels mounted on the roof.
As this boat is being built as a Bluewater Boats stock boat, she is currently available to purchase.
This is a great opportunity to own a brand-new and distinctive Thames Launch style narrowboat without the usual wait for a bespoke build slot – with the added opportunity to choose the exterior colour scheme if purchased before painting begins.
Enquiries are welcome, and we would be delighted to arrange a visit to our workshop to view the boat while she is in build.
