Ruby Fizz - A 61ft x 12ft 6" bespoke one bedroom wide beam

Ruby Fizz is a beautifully individual 61ft x 12ft 6", one-bedroom bespoke wide beam, designed, built and fully fitted out by Bluewater Boats.
From the steelwork and engineering to the carpentry, bespoke cabinetry, electrics, plumbing and painting, the complete boat was produced by our own team, allowing every aspect of the build to work together from the outset.

Ruby Fizz was built using our distinctive wide-beam hull design incorporating a chine, creating a more shaped underwater profile.
The chine helps improve the flow of water back towards the propeller, contributing to better handling, manoeuvrability and responsiveness. It also allows the boat to moor more comfortably in shallower waters.
The design creates valuable space beneath the floor too, allowing Ruby Fizz's stainless steel fresh water tank and waste holding tank to be positioned below floor level, maximising the living and storage space inside.
Her distinctive square-rounded stern incorporates hydraulic steering and a bespoke corner barbecue area. Steps lead through a pair of full-height stern doors rather than a conventional sliding hatch, creating a much more open entrance into the boat. Canopies are fitted at both the bow and the stern.

Ruby Fizz's hull, including the base plate, was fully shot blasted before being protected below the waterline with a two-pack epoxy blacking system.
The superstructure was finished in a two-pack acrylic urethane paint system, followed by a protective clear coat to help minimise everyday marking and scratching from overhanging trees and branches.

The interior has a light, contemporary feel with oak detailing and herringbone flooring throughout.
The layout flows from bow to stern through the bedroom, bathroom, saloon, galley and separate stern cloakroom.
The forward bedroom provides generous wardrobe space and storage drawers beneath the bed. The main bathroom features a pump-out macerator toilet, large shower and beautiful decorative shower panel, while the washer dryer is neatly housed within the corridor.
The saloon includes a Reflex stove, bespoke storage and a concealed pop-up television.

The spacious galley centres around a breakfast bar with granite worktops and includes an electric oven, induction hob, full-height fridge freezer and dishwasher.
There is also dedicated wine storage and a wine cooler – a particularly fitting feature for a boat called Ruby Fizz!

At the stern, a separate cloakroom provides a second toilet and hand basin, while also allowing practical access to the stern thruster.

Ruby Fizz is powered by a Barrus Shire 90hp diesel engine and is equipped with bow and stern thrusters, hydraulic steering and an electric windlass.
Her comprehensive Victron electrical system includes a 24V 5000VA inverter/charger, Lynx Distribution, BMS and Lynx In, supported by 3 x 300Ah Victron 25.6V lithium batteries.
An ARCO high-output alternator provides additional charging and can be monitored and controlled via a smartphone app.
Ruby Fizz is also fitted with a Water Freedom purification system, allowing suitable canal or river water to be treated for use aboard and providing greater independence when cruising.

Ruby Fizz is a fantastic example of a truly bespoke Bluewater wide beam – combining a carefully designed hull, excellent handling, substantial onboard power and beautifully considered living spaces.

Designed, fabricated, fitted out, engineered and painted by our own team, Ruby Fizz showcases Bluewater craftsmanship from beneath the waterline right through to the finished interior.
