Paws and Relax

Paws & Relax was conceived, engineered and built entirely in-house by Bluewater Boats, combining innovative electric propulsion with a layout designed around modern life afloat. Unveiled at the 2026 Crick Boat Show, the striking sixty-three-foot narrowboat quickly became affectionately known to visitors as "the orange boat".

The steelwork features Bluewater's distinctive short-bow design, maximising interior living space, while the square stern creates a generous outdoor seating area ideal for entertaining or simply enjoying life on the water.

Powered by a 15kW Torkmar electric drive system, Paws & Relax is equipped with an advanced onboard electrical setup, including a Vetus 6.5kVA generator, Victron LiFePO4 battery bank and 1.8kW of solar generation, delivering quiet, efficient cruising with impressive off-grid capability.

Inside, the accommodation has been carefully arranged to balance practicality with comfort. The layout includes a forward bedroom, walk-through bathroom, spacious saloon, raised dinette, well-equipped galley and an additional WC at the stern. Sleeping accommodation for four and thoughtfully considered storage solutions make the boat equally suited to extended cruising or relaxed weekends away.
