Csavargo, a magnificent 70ft x 15ft Bespoke Dutch Barge designed by us and built with an aft cabin, a corridor alongside the engine room, under the wheelhouse and exterior steps up to an aft sundeck area. Built to Category C and the newly introduced ES-TRIN rulings, believed to be the first built in the UK. Fitted with a painted and American black walnut interior, this beautiful barge has three cabins and two bathrooms including a jacuzzi bath. The high specification for the equipment on board includes Mastervolt lithium iron batteries, Mastervolt inverter/chargers, solar panels, Dometic air conditioning throughout, Vetus Deutz 210hp engine, 14 kva generator, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, hydraulic bow and stern winches and a bow locker to house two motorbikes. Teak decking is fitted on the bow deck, gunnels and aft deck area, along with collapsible stainless steel railings on the aft deck with rope handrail.
Csavargo was completed in 2020, however, the launch was delayed due to the Covid 19 lockdown. The owners were stranded in the UK after a visit to view her nearing completion and had to live aboard her in our boat yard for a while during lockdown!! Whilst the owners had some equipment on board, we furnished them with cutlery, plates etc to make their new dream barge as enjoyable as possible out of the water!! Csavargo was finally launched at Gillingham in July 2020 and is now cruising the waterways of Belgium.
